Medicare
For Physical Therapy
Step Forward Wellness is in-network with Medicare Health Insurance. Using Medicare Health Insurance with our Grand Rapids physical therapy clinic is easy. Simply contact us with the link below and share the information on your Medicare Health Insurance card and we will verify your benefits and then get you scheduled. Once you do that, your therapist will make sure to use our secure service to submit your sessions to Medicare Health Insurance.
Depending on your insurance plan, you may owe a copay, co-insurance, or a deductible fee at the time of your physical therapy session—this will be collected by your therapist at the end of session. You may use your HSA card at this time if you have one. Other times, Medicare insurance may pay for your physical therapy session completely depending on your insurance plan and you may owe nothing for the service. To understand more about your insurance plan, please contact Medicare insurance and ask them what they cover in terms of “Outpatient Physical Therapy.”
Please note that Medicare is often called "Original Medicare" or "Medicare Part B" and is different from Medicare Advantage plans that are offered through other insurance providers. If you have a Medicare Advantage plan you may need to utilize your Out Of Network benefits to get physical therapy with Step Forward Wellness. Be sure to call your Medicare insurance representative to ask questions about using your insurance for counseling. If your Medicare insurance representative has questions, please have them reference your therapist’s name, and let them know that the official group name is “Step Forward Wellness LLC.”
We look forward to serving you by providing excellent therapy services at this time, while accommodating your insurance plan.
